This is a piece from my calendar submission I sent to the Institute on Disability at UNH earlier this month. The theme this year.. "community". This picture was taken while I was still finishing everything up. You can clearly see the folds and bumps of the grocery bag. Sometimes I work around them, or use kraft smooth scrapbooking paper... but sometimes, the bumps and the folds just give it a bit more character and I leave them as part of the art.
